Description
Punch plates are metal plates with pre-etched grids that allow you to punch or mark specific locations corresponding to words or phrases. The heavy-duty stainless steel plates will withstand just about anything along with a melting point of 2550°F / 1450°C (Over double the average house fire).
To get started, only the first four letters of each word need to be punched into the plate to identify each word of the seed phrase.
The AirGap Recovery Plate can be used with all sorts of BIP39 Wallet setups, such as AirGap, Ledger, Trezor, etc. But we recommend using these plates with the AirGap Wallet / Vault setup since it offers the highest security, fantastic usability, is open-source and free to use.
